Pick Sixes

Does anyone have slider tips for how to prevent pick sixes? I'm running NCAA Football 13 right now, and I just started a new dynasty playing on Heisman with default sliders. It seems like just about every time that I throw an interception it gets returned to the house for 6. A lot of interceptions that I get, I have a chance to return for 6, but unless it is a straight shot to the end zone, I will usually sit on the ball. I don't want to turn the interception slider down per se because if I make a bad decision I deserve to throw an INT, but just frustrating how no matter the speed of the opposing DBs, your receivers cannot catch up to them.

I know you said you don't want to mess with sliders, but check this thread out, it's for 14, but will probably work for 13 as well. Other than that, maybe change your threshold.
