On Madden 12 when im playin D how do i change the coverage of only the user controlled player. Like if i call a pass coverage play how do i get my user player to go forward to rush instead of immediately dropping back to cover ? I try to rush but at the snap he starts goin backwards !

First make sure you user control the desired player. Then press 'down' and a menu will open from which you can choose different coverages or a blitz. This only applies to the specific player.
