textures in CH2K8

I have done some modding on NCAA football, Does anybody know where the textures files are at ? is everything hex editing only ? Can the files be opened with QUICK BMS like EA files

Yes you can open with Quick BMS, you need to use the NHL 2k11 script:

aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.ht_m (remove the '_' between 'ht' and 'm')

Once converted the files are .dat

That's as far as I got in the process but if someone has guidance on how to edit the textures/.dat files then I will put in the time editing.

Furthermore, in a hex editor we can see the contents of the file. For example, if I recall correctly it would list AWAY JERSEY VRAM VRAM DRAM DRAM AWAY NUMBERS VRAM VRAM DRAM DRAM. That’s translated text, of course. All we need to do is extract those .iffs. Unfortunately, it’s likely a custom file format for which the tools either don’t exist anymore, or would be very, very hard to get a hold of. Either way, don’t lose sleep trying to edit this game.
