Will NBA Live 10 live up to its expectation?

As a fan of the NBA Live series, I believe EA can redeem themselves to the top of basketball-gaming. I think EA has finally come to their senses that there finally needs to be "change". I knew 2010 will be a special year for EA, so I am praying that it will live up to its expectation. Feel free to express your opinions or ideas. Let NBA Live 10 reign as king of basketball-gaming.

nba live will never compare to 2k the only way ea can compete is try and get exclusive rights like they did football madden couldnt compete so they had to get the rights only thing they have is boxing leave basketball and football to the real developers 2k

Just give Live a chance this year. They sound more legit this year. I think they can do it.

Lawrence5238, what a fanboyish comment. True NBA Live has been below standard recently, but 09 showed that the series is on the right track. NBA2K has pretty much remained stagnant the last couple years.
Lets remember that the exclusive license deal wouldn't have happened if the NFL hadn't let it. It's as much the leagues fault as it is either gaming companies. The NHL and NBA have both turned down Exclusive offers, why couldn't the NFL? In any case competition is good and the NBA2K series will have some stiff competition this year.

I definitely agree with savoie2006. 2K has pretty much remained stagnant. Nothing is improving with this game. Live improves every year, hopefully this year it is right where it should be, at the top. I believe this is the year Live will finally take it. One thing I noticed is, when I play 2k its never any fun to me unless I'm playing against a friend. When I play Live, it's exciting playing your Dynasty because there is more you can do. I know some people almost turning away on 2k for Live 10. I don't think 2k is getting away so easily this time.
