Welcome to the 2018 New York Mets baseball season brought to you by MLB the Show 18! The Mets will be led by starting pitchers Noah Syndergaard and Jacob deGrom as well as power hitters Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto. The Mets can best be described as a power pitching as well as power hitting club.

Mets took game one of the series 7-2 on the strength of home runs by Conforto and Adrian Gonzalez. Robert Gsellman came into game in the top of the seventh with Syndergaard having trouble and putting runners on. He finished the game for the Mets and recorded the save. Mets look to take game two with Jacob deGrom on the hill.
