The Timberwolves were 3 � 1 in week 13 of the season with a comfortable win over Houston, a terrible loss to the Thunder and two close wins over Utah and Toronto.

The Timberwolves set up their big win over Houston in the first quarter with a 35 to 22 start. They followed up winning the next two quarters by a point each before finishing with a 34 to 21 final quarter to add insult to the score line. That said the Wolves bench warmers got some burn in this game with no starter playing more than 25 minutes.

Kevin Martin scored 23 points for the Rockets and Luis Scola scored 21 and grabbed 8 rebounds to be the best for the away team.

For the Timberwolves five players scored in double figures, four of those scored 20 or more points in a true team performance as everyone had a chance and no one player was the sole focus of the offence throughout. Kevin Love was named player of the game.
