Rider debuts for Wolves
The Kings, like the Wolves have a pretty young core and some growing stars in Evans and Cousins. The Wolves anticipated a tough match up and the Kings didn't let them down, with Tyreke Evans doing pretty much anything he wanted, no matter the defense that was placed in front of him.
In what was a back and forth match with no team leading by more than 8 points at any stage, the Wolves managed to take a lead late in the fourth only to watch it crumble in spite of the best efforts of Martell Webster who scored an incredible 32 points in only 15 minutes shooting 8/10 from beyond the arc. Evans scored 32 of his own and that was enough to land him player of the game as the Wolves lost a heartbreaker 111-112.
