Rays Lose Wild One To Sox

In what was supposed to be a battle of ace left-handers, both David Price and Jon Lester looked shaky. After grabbing the quick 5-0 lead thanks to back-to-back-to-back home runs from Ramirez, Longoria, and Shoppach, the Rays gradually gave everything back. David Price hasn't looked like himself in his first 3 starts and Joe Madden looks for him to turn things around.

"He's got to clean the slate and start over. He knows he can be dominant, we know he can be dominant, so once he starts believing again I think we'll start seeing that David Price again." Madden also pointed toward the offense as a positive sign. "Once we get our pitching around again, we'll be right where we need to be."

We'll have to wait and see as the Rays take on the Red Sox again in the 3rd game of their 4 games series which is tied at 1-1.
