The play-offs are just a few weeks out and the Toronto fans haven't been so excited in decades.

With new ownership in town big changes have taken place over the stretch of the 2013-2014.

Kessel is gone, in his place as the top offensive producer is John Tavares, flanking him on the top line are Joffrey Lupul (who is sporting the C) a long with the big fast James Van Riemsdyk.

The former captian Dion Phaneuf also saw his way out of town as did Cody Franson, Leo Komarov and David Clarkson.

Stepping in for them were the likes of Drew Doughty, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Joel Ward and Kyle Okposo.

Leading the conference in points by a solid margin with just 8 games to go, the Leafs have clinched top spot and although not over looking their opponents before season's end, are very excited for the promise of some thrilling playoff action in Toronto this year.
