Good post. I disagree that this the best madden ever, but I agree with the premise of the post. I have given up on sim football games, and the months of august and september are always bad video game months for me. I play more soccer on my console then football. That is sad.

Nice post. I have enjoyed this game more than any other Madden in recent history. I've learned to accept that no game will ever be perfect. I do believe that EA is back on track with this series.

MossMan I agree with you a 110% but if they make the perfect game where do they go from there? People aren't going to buy a game for 60 bucks every year just for a roster update. Tryst me I thought they were close to nailing it with I believe it was 10 or 11 and than BOOM they stripped it clean when they didn't need to. My 2 BIGGEST complaints are
NO editing of roster classes
& NO 1 button 32 team control (something that could be easily put back in)
Others than that most fun I've had in years with Madden

I can't get my self to buy Madden, and I had Madden every year since 97. I would get the game day one and even at midnight. This changed after I played campus legend in NCAA and imported my player into madden.
I was OK with the QB vision cone because it added a dimension to the game which is sorely missing. I that next year when they made it optional was the realization that Madden fans ask for better football but this requires us to change how we play the game.
So, my name is David and I am a Maddenholic...I have not purchase Madden in three years. I often look at the box and read forum posts, but I take it one day at a time.
I will wait for completion to EA...long like 2k5...

A "Real Football" mode should be there, let us decide if we want to play that way or not. Or, add in the option for “presentation” and “real penalties” and “real fatigue” in "head-to-head vs. a friend" mode and let us make that decision. - I've been hoping for this way to long and realize that EA wants more of the arcade fan than the sim fan.

We've been crying for this for years. Great post, but it will fall on deaf ears. They simply could not care less. We are the minority, and that doesn't work in our favor. The only thing we could do, is not buy the game. Which we all know won't happen. We hold out for hope, and are constantly disappointed. I'm sorry, but the only company that listens, is 2K. They listen to the sim community.

it is the best madden ever. Which past game was better? Though that means about as much as being the tallest midget in the room. Madden 15 is still far from perfect.

Your comments are not falling on deaf ears. Please keep the feedback coming as myself and others monitor these boards regularly. We are looking into multiple features that speak to what you propose above. Thanks everyone else for the ideas proposed above, please keep it coming.

@RexDEAFootball, The biggest thing we want is customization. This means more sliders to tune gameplay the way we see fit, and the ability to have penalties that work (If a slider is tuned to 100, it should happen extremely often. The same applies for QBA, which when tuned to 0, should be extremely difficult to even complete a simple pass). We also want customization of features. We should be able to completely customize our franchise mode options ( player position changes, schemes, practice squad, IR options). Do yourself a favor and take a look at what has people so excited about this year's NBA2K. The sheer amount of customization to MyLeague and the amount of sliders for gameplay is incredible! Imagine that with Madden! You guys are on the right track and this is the Best Madden Ever on the field. The game just needs to be fleshed out and customizable to each user's tastes. Create a CFM with 15 mins n increase the fatigue. I think ppl would join a league like that. Sounds like it would be some fun.

@RexDEAFootball- True or closer representation of penalties would be huge. Of course, that would be an element of the whole package that would create that real football experience to which WFERGUSON05 originally stated. Thank you for your attention. Hopefully in the near future we will see a true football experience.

Great post! I really wish they would give us the options you posted. They have catered to the hardcore community enough. Give the sims guys some love.

@ RexDEAFootballFirst off, I think Madden is an improvement this year but it could be better as you've said before here are my ideas and feedback Rex . I think presentation and graphics are phenomenal and made a big leap this year. When I saw the QB run outs using CBS presentation I jumped off my sofa yelling because its one of things I've wanted for a while. I know some would say its not important but I disagree its the small things that count. The only thing that ruins it for me is that the stadium transforms when you start a game. Maybe we can get actual footage from around the stadium & city like NHL 15 does. I would love more in depth commentary from Jim and phill (Ie. Player in jury's, pro bowl selections players have had, player roles in the game plan etc.). Crowd reactions are better this year but the energy from stadium to stadium should vary. When we play in Seattle the fans should be going crazy and crowd noice should be at highest. If I'm driving down field with 2 minutes to go on the road I should feel the intensity and pressure of the moment. Also cleats for lineman should be updated Nike has a couple pair I see almost every lineman with and would love to see under armor cleats for Cam Newton. Gameplay wise I would love to see authentic zone blocking where the lineman actually take there hedge steps. Zone chucking looked good but can be improved I think most people mentioned realistic penalties as well. We needs more qb throws as well I would love to be able through back shoulder passes. That would go with db and wr interactions which are non existent I want to be able to fight for the ball in the air as a wr or db . Weight and strength needs to feel like it matters during tackling & blocking as well. Hurry up offense should have more of a negative impact on teams that don't run hurry up offense the hole game. Players should have more traits to distinguish them properly weather there hidden or not. I believe madden 08 had a great idea with the weapons traits players had. Ccm needs to be more immersive let us sign guys to the practice sqaud to develop a not ready rookie. Let us Build our own stadiums from scratch, build and draft for an expansion team
