I think I've hit that proverbial wall when it comes to playing this game. Love my hockey but starting off another Dynasty Mode 2016 is not holding my attention very well. Think either today or next couple of days will be turning this game along with my NCAA 12 and use as a down payment toward the new and supposedly revamped NCAA 13 College Football game coming out soon from what I'm hearing. I'm debating whether to get the Madden series as I haven't played that since it left the Pc version. From everything I've heard it hasn't fared well so I'll have to do some more research and what everyone thinks of it. I just did order the Baseball Mogul 13 for my computer to keep me busy when I have any downtime. I do a lot of Umpiring so downtime is few and far between this time of year. What's everyone else hearing about the NCAA 13 and and any changes or upgrades for the NHL 13 coming out Sept.11th?

NHL 12 ....1st season..Update

Well my fingers are pretty sore after 10 games so thought I'd chime in with my progress. After making the playoffs as the top seed with a 61-15-6 record it was officially time to get down to business. 1st on the list was Montreal. Took them out with regularity. Average 5 goals these games while giving up 4 total. Next you could tell the level of competition was going to be harder and it was as it should be. Washington Caps came a calling and were quite the match up nightmare. I knew if I could shut down Oven Chicken..sorry my wife gave Ovechkin that name. Anyway shutting him down was good the 1st 3 games was ok as he only tallied 1 goal. Next game they won with 6 sec's left. Last game would see Nathan Horton scoring with 4.3 sec's left untying the 2-2 game and would give him not only the game winner but a hat trick. Didn't really want to go to O.T. back to back games so cutting it close is an understatement. Now I get cheap shot artist Matt Cooke and Sid the Kid's Penguins. Beat them 5-2 1st game as this was a 3-2 game for the longest time. And this last game to close out today's game saw me do whatever I wanted at will. Savard scored a Hat Trick in an 8-0 route. Next thread will finish out this season when I get feeling back in my hand. Actually that's closer to to the truth than ya think. I still haven't gotten surgery for my herniated disc which has 3 of my fingers numb and constant pain all the time. Stay tuned for that as well. Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend. Go Bruins!!

2nd Entry of my season

Well after a dismal 7-6 1st season I'm off and flying this 2nd season. Have started off playing 4 ranked teams in a row starting with Wisconsin with whom I've never played before. So after beating them I beat Michigan and Stanford before falling to Michigan St. So then comes Boston College,no problem right. No they gave me fits before I finally pulled a way winning 19-9. When Purdue came a calling I figured I'd blitz them since there a passing team. After falling behind 7-0 on the 2nd play of the game I played catch up pretty much all game. I did win 24-17 on a key fumble recovery and into the end zone I went. Defense has been playing well but offense is starting to sputter somewhat and have been turning ball over both possible way's yet I'm 6-1, can't complain there. It was weird ranking wise because 3 of the 4 ranked teams were in the top 18 and yet I could only get ranked 24th. Needless to say I'm not currently ranked. Stay tuned for the rest of season 2 coming up complete with stats. Go Irish!!

NCAA 12 Football

Ok I'm sending this out to anyone who wants to reply. What will I like most about this new Football game most over last years? I think it's pretty polished already and the lighting has sure added to it as well. I usually get around 4 seasons out of it before I put the joystick down and wait for the following years. I don't have it set up to play online but I imagine that's fun as well. Biggest changed from last year to this year. Go Irish!!
