Don't get me wrong yes I'm a Cardinals fan but to see them squander the rest of there season away to teams like Houston,Pittsburgh,Washington. Are you kidding me? No seriously this burns my *** in a big way. Great for the Reds and it just so happens my wife likes the Reds and I'm congratulating her on a nightly basis because we can't score,pitch or better yet compete against teams that have no business even still playing. I can't say I watch each and every game but as a sports nut I can usually tell you the score of my teams for each sport and some trivia as to why they won,lost etc. Now please don't take this the wrong way I love winning as do many of you but teams like the Cubs would almost seem like an easier fix than what's going wrong with the Cardinals right now. Please explain to me I don't care how good defensively he is to put a .200 or lower Shortstop out there and be ok with it? Waited to late to get a viable 3rd baseman for the rest of the year. And now come s words there's a riff between LaRussa and Rasmus. Can someone please enlighten me as to what that's all about? Think I'm ready for LaRussa to leave and find someone else. I'm not debating he's good and all but this team needs an identity not a dictator. Not quite sure if I like Mozoliak yet or not. Jon Jay is good but I liked and he was a fan favorite in letting go of Ludwick. And why there continuing to ride the dead horse of Lohse is beyond me. Penny had his chance,ship him out. I love Pujols but if he goes ship him to the American league to he doesn't burn us. Surely we can replenish our farm system and get a decent pitcher or 2 in return.Maybe a good shortstop. Can we still compete? I think so. Get back to a running game and that'll help keep the defense on edge. To predictable as it is now. When Pujols is your leading base stealer there's something wrong.
