Well another update from the land of the Irish. I'm now 8-1. The day started simple enough as my wife wanted me to help our neighbors whom we know to move in. Wasn't excited about it but ok there's 2 hours shot. 1st thing I reached for upon returning home was that Busch Light Tallboy and it was off to go to my man cave to play a few games of NCAA13. Ok so Stanford usually tough was no match nor was Arkansas St. My tallboy long gone and here comes #1 Texas comes a calling. I'm sitting @ #3 so I'm game. I thought it was going to be tougher than it was. There defense I thought was pretty tight. I was able to win 21-12 so now exactly sure where I stand now. Akron Zips are next. Oh boy. So I'm 8-1 now and have finally a clear cut HB who's making a name for himself. I inserted him as my starter after the 1st week seeing as how my #1RB fumbled twice in the 1st game and that was enough of that. Long story short, my halfback is 2nd in the Heisman balloting. I do have a go to Receiver which is nice after not really knowing where to turn. Still hoping my recruiting can help next year to spread the field a bit. My QB's go back and forth. They both have more Int's than touchdowns but are getting better. Defense has finally stepped it up so that's welcome news. I believe the only tough game remaining is USC. Did I say tough. Guess I haven't learned my lesson after getting beat by an unranked Michigan team ha? Time will tell but the guys are playing better and gaining confidence. Stay tuned!!!
