Well rented out this game the other day as I'm a sports nut, no doubt. Decided to play in Dynasty Mode and went 23-8 my 1st year as Arkansas but then had to turn game back in. Why again did they stop making this game? Not a market for it?

Sales were low. There was talk of a bi-annual release, but that apparently has gone out the window.
I'm really close to pulling the trigger on picking this game up. I know it has its limitations, but on the whole, the game was fun to play. The presentation was really good and the floor spacing was much better than in College Hoops.
The thing that really bothered me about this game was that EA never patched the freezing issue. I get that you're not supporting the game in the future, but they owed it to the people that bought the game to at least address something that was making it impossible for people to actually play the game.

This game was so easy to make 3's in, no matter what difficulty, completely ruined the game. If you want college basketball, College Hoops is still the way to go.

This game got old after a while, because you could hit the three easily. The post game was terrible as well. Great dynasty mode, but it just got old.

This game is pretty fun..I found some decent sliders in the forums for this aswell
Im in the dynasty with long beach state and I have made my on university blvd, school ave, streets..
I've built up my facilities
I love the different ambience of gyms vs playing in a arena
The uniforms and player models are more up to date
So many sneakers and different kinds of accessories and hair styles (they got the slanted box fade tupac had in juice)
I like the commentary (I was undefeated in conference play and they mentioned it)
I turn commentary off when its a small or untelevised game.
Love the presentation
----
Hate the spontaneous freezing
Block shots look awful as well as some layup animations
With out sliders every cpu team plays the same
Call me silly for this one but I love the break away rim and power/hang dunks..but some dunks look awkward.
Over all I played ch2k8 so much that it was just to outdated with player movements and limited player model and accessories edits..it stop looking good to me in HD 1080 and I've done everything you can possibly do in legacy mode. There are literaly 6 or 7the total dunks in ch2k8..I love it to death but had to let it R.I.P and it will always have a place in my heart.

I have both CH2K8 and NCAA 10. The presentation just looks so much better on NCAA 10 compared to CH2K8. They both have their pros and cons. It did seem, though, that EA was on the right track because NCAA 10 was much better than prior versions, although we all know that 2K has taken basketball to a new level with NBA 2K 11-12.

I have this game for 360 and I thought it was ok until I picked up ch2k8

I miss the hell out of having a college basketball game to play. It seems like someone would take a shot at it. I've always wondered why 2K doesn't just take their gameplay engine, give us the exact same legacy, and slightly change the recruiting. The game was good enough they wouldn't need to much work into it, the gameplay is just too stale after playing NBA. Oh well.

I understand that EAsports own the rights all to the NCAA games and teams. Really make me mad, becasue they do nothing with it, just football. What waste of rights to something. Come on give up for College Basketball.
