Why not pay the players based on there output,stats,heart,desire if you will? I know,I know what your thinking,will NEVER happen. Your right it won't but would make players like case in point Gilbert Arenas who was up on gun charges because of a concealed weapon in his locker now given (if you call it that)a 2nd chance to play during preseason and he FAKES and injury as a joke. I'd be like jokes on you,your outta here. Contract year,you'd better play your *** off. You can't measure heart,desire or even realistically pay on those tangibles but you get the point. Why are so many troubled athletes given an opportunity to return as if nothing happened. Not sure which sport is the worst to tell you the truth. Offhand I'd say the NFL then NBA. I could start naming names but I've gotta go to bed sometime tonight.
