1st of all let it be NO secret I can't stand Michigan but then again neither can Ohio St. Clearly this game was for the taking even with the explosiveness of Michigan's QB. When you have a QB out for the what 2 quarters and your offense is sputtering with the backups there's concern and I was like oh shuckey darn when Dane Crist went out,well not exactly those words. I thought Nate Montana should move up on the depth chart and he has quite an arm as we saw a time or two not to mention his poise the longer he stayed in. I don't know anything about the other backup. The defense was put on an island and asked to do just to much today. I'd give them a B-. Tackling could've been better @ times. Sure like that Manti-teo. That kid is special. Next week I like our chances against another determined opponent in Michigan St. Never easy but still intriguing none the less. We may have just faced the most explosive player we'll face all year. The thing I like our team versus there's is this. Were Notre Dame and we don't rely on just 1 person. We have weapons galore at our disposal. I'm liking what I see despite the tough luck loss but we NEVER quit. That's not something we could say during the Weiss era. And in final we know a coach is measured in win's/losses so time will tell. Go Irish!!! You have nothing to hang your head about!!
