Just completed my 2nd season and what a season it was

Me playing with Notre Dame? You betcha. Wouldn't have it any other way. Anyway there were some trying times this 2nd year as there was a Giant Bullseye on my back. I was rated as high as #3 when I lost by a touchdown to #1 Stanford. Can't for the life of me recollect every game I played but a potent offense I had. I ended up going to the Rose Bowl to play Penn St. They jumped on me with 2 quick TD's before I knew what hit me. I did tie it up and was feeling better. Long story short I lost 23-14 there as well. 11-2 is nothing to sneeze at but this game is so much fun to play.I did get 2 more options after th season was over. Coaching change to take over Michigan (which I'd throw the game out the window before I did take that program over). There were a few other schools or stick with N.D. for 4 more years. That was my choice hands down. My QB and all world Running back who ran for 1,100 yards and had 12 T.D's which doesn't sound like a lot are returning so I'm happy about that. Didn't notice any 4 star recruits coming in but plenty of 3 star ones. Just about ready for another season to begin. Oh and last but not least I agreed to join a conference and plain and simple that was 1 reason and 1 reason only. The chance to play Illinois which is 13 miles down the road here in real life. Already can't wait to beat up on them. I'm worried about my ratings being in a conference and how much of a hit they'll take though.

Sounds awesome Waspman! Sounds like you're having some really good games, if you don't mind me asking, what settings do you currently use? Quarter settings, level, do you use any sliders?

Also as a ND fan, we GOTTA get you some 4* recruits my man! How else are you going to keep that train a rollin'.

Glad you asked but in all honesty I have never,ever changed a slider in my life. I just play it however it's made. Was a blast though. Not sure why I'm not getting any 4 star recruits for the life of me though. What determines that? I mean I'm playing for Notre Dame not Utah State right?

I just found a slider set that I liked in the sliders forum. I setup the game with them, made a few tweaks and haven't touched them since. I'm definitely enjoying the game far more than I ever have. As a matter of fact, in previous years I probably would have given up on the game by this time or even traded it in for another title, but I'm still going strong with this year's version! FWIW I use Playmaker's Varsity slider set.

As for your recruiting, you'll have to get on the 4 and 5* recruits early. When you begin a new season and can start adding players to your recruiting board, search by all then sort by interest. With ND and you going 11-2, you shouldn't have any problems gaining interest from 4 and 5*s...now getting them to commit is a little different story, lol.
