Wow because I can say I'm not a 24/7die hard fan I don't keep up with everything with what's going in down by the arch but bickering seems to be the name to the game. Pujols has come out and said he wants Rasmus gone. Can someone enlighten me as to what he's done? Either he's said something and rubbed someone the wrong way or not a team player. Not sure which. Doesn't really matter to me and I won't lose any sleep there not going to make the playoffs even as a wild card. As I've said before the season's to long,drawn out,boring and so on. Has nothing to do with my teams not playing well. Baseball just isn't my #1 sport. Cubs/Cards suck in the same year,gee never thought I'd say that. I do know Pujols has a contract coming up and something tells me he won't resign if LaRussa doesn't come back next year. He should take less to get some better pitching and maybe a good shortstop in there. I also feel sorry because our top 3 pitchers are busting there tails and getting no run support. Case closed!!

I don't think it's Pujols saying specifically "I want Rasmus off," rather it's just him siding with LaRussa in a feud or whatever. Plus, I'm sure that we're behind in the pennant race doesn't help matters. When teams struggle, these little spats can blow up into a much bigger deal. Trading Rasmus would be a bad move, and LaRussa has a history of not trusting young players who aren't named Pujols. I like LaRussa, but this is my first of hearing about this. Maybe it is time for him to call it quits.

But I still think Pujols comes back to the STL no matter who's in charge. If he actually leaves I'll really be surprised. He seems like he's made of different stuff than say...Aroid.
