GM MODE OF NHL 11

Ok how much more fun is this mode to play as say BAP mode like I'm doing now? I wouldn't mind being able to say draft a Tyler Seguin and get some young guys and go from there. Essentially is that what I'll be doing is drafting a team. Also there'll probably be a a cap limit or am I wrong about that? Really looking forward to exploring this game in less than a week now. I wanna start from scratch and I think I'll try something other than Dynasty or BAP mode and go with the GM mOde. Sounds like fun? The way I understand it is there's no more cheesy trades out there. Whoever has time to walk me through this from point A to point z please go for it. I'm all ears. Thanks.

Well, first of all...Be-A-GM is Dynasty Mode in the NHL series. You can play the games or sim them and just be a GM. Just clarifying in case you were confused.

There is a cap limit and this year all rules apply for Free Agency. Its a bit complex so I recommend you look for the blogs explaining the rules. The EA NHL forums here at OS ought to point you in the right direction.
