Courtesy of Gamespot, here is an interview with Phil Frazier, the ubiquitous Madden producer! There are some extended clips from the trailers as well as some new footage interwoven with the interview (that look really cool!) Most of what is said is already known. However, the quote above really stood out to me. Presumably, their "longer term plan" is the three year development cycle talked about by new EA "Football GM" Cam Weber. Could they be looking at real time physics or some other radical new system, of which collision is the first step?

That's so boss, I can't wait! I bet in 2014 when the new Xbox and Playstation come out we'll start to see some really true to life football, and I for one can't see how that would ever get old for true football fans like myself. ****.
