It's March Madness, time again, but things have changed. There is a huge absence in the sports gaming realm this year, the lack of an NCAA Basketball game from any publisher. However, to fill your time, you can now watch every second of every game thanks to an $11 Billion partnership between the old guard, CBS, and the relatively acknowledgeable newcomers when it comes to the college game, TNT (/TBS/truTV.) Indeed, it is interesting adding knowledgeable professionals to the tourney like Marv Albert, Kevin Harlan, Steve Kerr, and Kenny Smith. But, as always, it is the over-sized personality of Charles Barkley that stands out in the telecast that now features his insight.

True, he confessed, he didn't know the complete roster of UNC Asheville heading into March, but of course he had enough cockiness to tell Billy Packer where to shove it after criticizing TNT for getting involved. His bracket might now look uglier than Craig Sager's line of suits, but he appears right about one proclamation: The Big East is overrated. Of the 11 teams in the tournament from that conference, only two teams remain, and one is a huge surprise. The big teams, like Notre Dame with Ben Hansbrough, fell before the Sweet 16. So, with this great predicting, doesn't the exotic icon that is Sir Charles deserve a little reward? If EA were to resurrect college BB, it would need a gimmick, and there is no gimmick as loud or attention grabbing as Barkley!
