***PARODY*** NFL Head Coach 12 Stuck
Posted on January 4, 2011 at 05:01 PM.
NOTE: This is a parody!

It has been two and a half years since the release of NFL Head Coach 09, a great sim game that didn't sell well but is the envy of Madden's Franchise mode. The game's downfall was its lack of accessibility, and without the thrill of controlling a 92 yard pass or breaking 10 tackles, there wasn't much excitement surrounding the game.

But what if EA took a risk and revived NFL Head Coach? In order for it to sell, it would need star power and a catch. This is what John Madden brought to the original game on the Apple 2 and its subsequent editions. Also, there must be many distraught Patriots fans complaining that their revered coach is not in Madden due to his absence from the union, and EA cannot go out and sign him for fear of setting negative precedent. So, with that in mind, why doesn't EA get an excuse to sign him as the centerpiece and cover coach of this game?

Introducing, alongside his hair-replaced MVP QB, here is that most wickedly of geniuses (yes, I am a Jets fan), who maybe broke into a smile twice in his life, the Grim Reaper of football: Bill Belichick!

FEATURES:

NFL Head Coach 12 is now the ultimate coaching simulation experience for any sport. This game features a standard career mode, a Belichick mode, in which you re-coach the greatest games of his career and recreate his bitter personality, a special Surveillance Mode in which you spy on as many teams as possible without getting caught, and a story-based GM mode in which you play as a retired Belichick working in the Patriots front office, storming out of as many meetings as possible and while making the ultimate draft steals. The boredom of the previous games is gone, replaced with the satisfaction of being perfectly autocratic and spiteful. No other sports game makes you feel more like the subject himself.

Ya - he gives this sinister smile when he beats the Jets. If we beat Indy this week, I have a feeling we'll see it again.

Nice....but i'm confused....will the surveillance mode be one of those Tom Clancy like third person shooters? and if so, will belli get to use one of those choking wires? It would be cool to see him try to strangle big Rex.
