NBA 2k11 PROBLEM?

Ever since patch 1 was released this week, I have had a big problem in NBA 2k11 with intentional fouls not working (on PS3). Whenever I hit the select button when the clock is winding down, even close to the opponent, nothing happens (this has lead to a few losses that probably could have been reversed with the INT foul.) Also, I have noticed CPU opponents have not tried the intentional foul at all, even in obvious situations. Anyone else having this problem???
