WINNIPEG, MAR. 1 - The Jets came to the game riding a 3-game win streak but it didn't impress their division rivals of Nashville as the Predators came out on top with a 2-1 win.
Pekka Rinne did an amazing job, saving 40 of the 41 shots he faced. The Preds did exactly what the Canucks did some games ago, as it seems to be a truly effective plan to beat Winnipeg: when the team scored the go ahead goal, they played a defense-heavy style, with little to no offense. This, combined with Rinne's elite performance, was enough to give the win to the home team.
