WINNIPEG, MAR. 16 - Nothing like facing the worst team on the league to lift a team's spirit, right? Even without first liner Mark Scheifele, the Jets did everything right to beat the Stars by the score of 3-0 and snap a seven game losing streak. Although the score shows a large margin, the game was really close as 2 of the Jets goals were Empty Netters with less than a minute to play. The Stars even had a power play after Ekman-Larsson was called for charging with 1:00 on the clock, so they had real chances to tie the game. However, Reimer came back to his good form and stopped all the shots to earn another shutout and help the Jets snap their huge losing streak.
Now, there's no time to rest as Winnipeg travels to St. Louis to face the much hated Blues in the second night of a back-to-back.
