For those of us without DirecTV -- not only do we lose out on the NFL Gameday package and its accoutrements -- but we've had to wait an extra season for the return of hands down the best show on television: Friday Night Lights. If you're not up to date -- go ahead and head to NBC for free streams of the last 2 seasons, or even through NETFLIX on your 360 (which to tell the truth is where I re-watched the entire 2 seasons over the last month or 2) . . . It's available through the "instant queue" but watch out, because if you say you're into FNL and give it the star rating it deserves (*****), NETFLIX assumes you'll like every other teen / drama / series on television. . .

Oh, and it doesn't hurt that these pics of yours and mine new favorite born-againer Lyla Garrity have surfaced from the Golden Globes last week . . . word is, her and Riggins are back at it.

And by "it" I mean the sex.
