A Few Play Entry Tips as well as playbook creation ideas...

2- Make sure all your play types are correct and in the correct order for each player. Again, so many different options you can use within assigning each player play types as well. I used last years play types as a base and made a few tweaks.
3- While you create your own playbooks keep in mind that certain teams might just need 2,3,4 iso plays at the most. PNR, mid range, and low post will have or should have the most plays within your play books. Cutters and iso's should have the fewest.
4- All the plays I have listed within classic playbooks and current play books all work so you really cant go wrong. Remember there is a million different combinations you can put within the play books.
5- I have already accounted for play types within a teams play books. So if I have lob plays for the Clippers under a cutter play type chances are you will not see Caron Butler with cutter play type. Same go's for Lakers for instance as D12 has just low post and no PNR man as some low post plays have PNR options within them so it frees up more PNP plays for Pao Gasol. Same as last year...
6- I tried to name some different sets within the play books to make it easy to locate a system if you choose to set up a different playbook with Flex, UCLA, Hi/Low looks, Princeton, and Triangle systems. Hard to replicate the Princeton and Triangle but you can also look at older Bulls teams for alot of those types of plays.
7- I have alot of similar plays mixed throughout all the teams for 1 of 2 reasons.
A) Most all of NBA teams will run the same action as the common plays selected.
B) To give users more familiarity when changing from team to team.
8- Also keep in mind these playbooks have not been synergy scouted yet. These are suggestions on spots on the floor for specific players where they like the ball as well as a teams system they run in real life. Once synergy scouted you will see for example more PNR's run from a area a team likes to run them such as top key, wings, angle screens, double screens, etc. I will also add some special plays here and there to the lists as I see needed.
9- Last thing to also keep in mind is there are alot of plays that are great for the USER that dont work for the CPU which is a reason you will not see it within these playbooks. These are all plays that the CPU executes and are not broken. For example a user can make a horns high post pass while the CPU might NEVER make that pass. So, remember this when asking yourself why this or that play isnt in as it might be a money play for a user. These plays are for going head to head against the CPU. All these plays work for BOTH the user and CPU.
Any questions feel free to ask. I have a folder of over 100 pages of notes with everything categorized by play types, positions on the floor as well as length of plays, swing passes, and then they are rated 1 to 5 stars for the better plays getting the 5 stars as oppossed to a non broken good play with 1 star... Hope all this helps!
As you all know I have put well over 250 hours in on this project with a ****load still to go. :-) Below is a link to donate if you like my work or what I do. To be honest, I am not sure I will or even can do this again next year as it's such a tedious and time consuming process. I would do this for myself, but never to the level of detail as I do for OS and the community. Again, if you like my work and want to show your support feel free to donate below. Thanks!
