So yea, I wrote a blog like a month ago before 2k dropped after seeing videos and live streams. Now after playing a total of 120 MyCareer games and 100+ MyPark matches, its time to go in on 2k once again, focusing on what NEEDS to be done! Let me start by saying that these things from some peoples viewpoint might seem minor or that I'm nitpicking but things in the video youre about to see, happen frequently and they are FLAT OUT dumb things to have in a game to me! It drives me crazy and makes no sense! Especially when 2k is saying REAL basketball or when gamers say its real life gameplay happening in 2k. No voice in the video so I'm going to point things out right here in writing. And once again, NO, these are not things that only happened once or twice, this stuff happens 5-7 times a game, maybe more in some situations. Shoot maybe i just have a flawed game if no one else sees this stuff lol.. Yes 2k is a good game but don't we want the perfect game that makes us give them money year after year after year..shoot idk..but anyway

(00:00-00:19)So lets kick the video off with something that i think helps me narrow down whats going on at 2k..Either 2k is super dumb or super lazy!! That dunk you just saw with barely any crowd reaction got a score of 45!!!! And NO thats not the main focus of the video, but its dumb lazy stuff like that, that happens in main gameplay that really shouldnt be in the game! so stop being lazy or dumb and take it out!! Or 2k needs to stop being SO GENERIC! **I'll talk that at the end after the vid**

(00:20-04:02) Right here I'm focusing on why are my big men either dumb or lazy...
THE FREAKING LANES TO THE BASKET ARE WIDE OPEN!!!!! why are they doing these layups or reacting so slow to put the round ball in the hoop!!! Which is the WHOLE POINT of BASKETBALL!!!! They NEED to be ATTACKING the basket quickly!! And even if your case is that there
is a defender right there(00:28), why do they decide to try to score where the defender is?!? if the defender is to their left they should go to the right and lay it up ORRR they should ATTACK like what happens in real life and DUNK to the right!! And if these decisions are based off of ratings, then 2k needs a better system because the guys you'll see throughout the video, DEFINITELY DUNK in real life! They might not be highly rated but they attack and dunk!! But what happens at (00:41) is INSANE!!! he's UNDER THE BASKET BY HIMSELF and doesn't score because of one of the super slow-mo animations that need to be scrapped out of the game.. he goes into slow-mo and once again goes right at the defender instead of attacking to the right.. this is not REAL BASKETBALL.. you dont go into slow-mo and say hmmm let me try to lay it up with SERGE I"BLOCK"A coming from my left!! CMON 2K!! Like its almost as if stuff is scripted when it comes to 2k and their animations, instead having good A.I. that will react to things.. at 2k it is animations >>> A.I. ...as you continue to see tho, its just dumb stuff by these bigs, lanes wide open to be attacked and they do dumb lay up animations or go into SLOW-MO and let people force them into a scripted animation. The reason i say forced into a scripted animation is because the shot animations they put up are clearly only becasuse another CPU player is near.... its stupid 2k!! Or even worse than that, (02:05) ED DAVIS pulling up for a jumper!! SMDH.... or watch how i give Julius Randle the ball, IN STRIDE (02:16) and his decison ...its pitiful man.. Then along with the slow-mo are the scripted pass animations that have players running to the dumbest spots on the floor, starting at (02:32) trying to pass to Hill and he runs up the back of Chandler instead of going towards the basket and then on top of that throws up a floater!! This stuff definitely has to be 2ks fault and nothing to do with ratings

(02:47) Davis is wide open once again and i try to pass it to him and he runs to the other side of the basket towards the defense..WTF..pretty much the same thing in the next scene with Randle..why isnt he cutting towards the basket to ATTACK!! The LANES ARE WIDE OPEN!! To me I just have to go back to these dumb scripted animations that don't allow real life things to happen in 2k as they should on a normal basis..I just don't understand how they let this stuff get in the game...Uh OH!! what do we have here at (03:02)..wide open basket for Kelly, but not in 2k's world!! THERES SLIDING!!! Scripted animation sucked Leonard towards Kelly and forced him into slow-mo to put up a dumb shot and miss.. Then here at (03:18-03:29) these up and under moves are TERRIBLE..yea i could see maybe a small guard or somebody doing that but not guys that can jump and DUNK!! or that can at least jump up to the rim or towards the square on the backboard. No I'm not saying my big men miss all their shots nor never dunk but even when they do it still doesnt look right. Check it out (03:30) Randle catches the ball deep in the paint but then thinks he is neo dodging bullets during a LIVE NBA game!! Yes yes, I know that animation is real! I've done that animation perfectly! In real life, in a gym, while proving to people I could dunk standing still! I was not and would not ever do that during a LIVE GAME tho!!! Quick animation reactions need to be put into 2k man. Cmon now man! technology is something else these days! Then to finish it off and get funny (03:47) I pass the ball to Jeremy Lin, wide open in the corner and HES more AGGRESSIVE to get to the basket than my big men who are usually
just a couple of steps away lmao smhhh ..thats sad man

(04:03-06:10) Running, momentum and movements
2K needs to let us run man!!! these dumb scripted slow-mo animations have to go! In these next few scenes I'm trying to break out on fastbreaks just like PG's in real life like D. Rose or Westbrook do but the dumb animations or momentum system by 2k will not let me.. So its like is the A.I mindset dumb or lazy to hit full speed and run! 2k does not let us
move and run freely..they have those dumb auto animations which i do not get..I'm pretty much already ahead of everybody on the floor and those dumb scripted pass receiving animations make you stop running..i can understand maybe slowing a tad bit to catch a pass behind you but to completely stop is idiotic.. yea, just stop and let everybody catch you.. On the fastbreak here vs Clippers (04:10) when I start running it looks like I'm breaking out like i should and then they make me slow up just to raise my damn hand for a pass..makes no sense..you gotta slow all the way down to raise your hand and then once again, stop and then move slow to catch the ball...scripted slow-mo....

Next scene vs Spurs (04:19) Out on the break, everything is looking fine right..NOPE! what happened is not what I, ME, The guy with THE CONTROLLER in my hands wanted to do!! I was trying to run to the corner for a wide open 3, but of course the scripted pass animations took me to the paint and then on top of that made me shoot a jumper when it should have been an ATTACK on Splitter and a foul called.. but 2k was in control of all that, not me with the controller in my hands... VS the Rockets (04:33) pretty much a wide open left side of the court to run up and make a fastbreak but nope..make me walk, then stop, just to catch the ball...next scene vs Nuggets (04:56) here I know, I'm not full speed but 2k apparently doesnt want me to get there either! For 1, why is my own guy getting in my way and 2 the nice change-up thrown by Randle where it definitely looks like he threw it hard but it only came out at 5mph and made me go into slow-mo.. 2k, just let me run....punish me for running to fast with bad passes or something and having turnovers..that happens in real life! Stopping and slowing down into slow-mo doesnt happen in real life tho!

Here (05:09)trying to go into transition after knocking a ball loose thats right in my face, guess what happens?!?! Thats right, slow-mo scripted robotic, whatever you wanna call it happens..instead of me being able to run freely and take the ball out of the air where it was, i go into the herky jerk movement and reach for the ball on the ground.. auto animation of strafing (05:25) NEEDS to go!! When running around on offense im not trying to defend anybody!!! I'm trying to get away from the defender!! let me run freely unless i run into somebody else..and i dont mean run into the invisible ghost either!!(shown later)...Here (05:40) I am defending, but the auto animations and strafing MAKES me do things! I'm trying to stop Beal from passing me, not trying to go by him!! Then alongside of 2k making me go by him they dont let me shift and chase when he goes by! It takes light years for that to happen and then hes already at the rim..pretty much the same thing with Ginobli driving (05:51) he goes by and try and go along with but then 2k makes me bounce off of ginobli like hes made of rubber and i cant move along with him to the hole..block animations(06:00) like this happen and still tryna figure out why these reactions happen..its great defense, I'm right there with him and going up for the block but then 2k makes me float away in stead of going towards the shooter which is where i was initially moving in the first place!!

(06:11-07:44) Bring the "cheese" back lol or a better ratio of when dunks should be missed
I'm sure nothing needs to be directly pointed out here! The bricking of dunks is absolutely stupid!! Especially seeing that the CPU never misses shots and is always hitting swishes!! These dunks being missed is just remedial by 2k! This has to do with any mode! in MyPark I be seeing big man miss dunks because a 5'11 guy was down there!! it makes no sense! CLEARLY there are times in these scenes my guys are at the rim with the ball in hand before theres even a danger of another hand being involved! If there is a hand involved its touching an elbow or forearm which should be called a FOUL!! If you wanna put missed dunks in like that, have the ball slip out of the players hand or something way before the get to the rim. Yes bricked dunks happen in real life but not 5-7 times a game and definitely not out on fastbreaks with little guys running BEHIND you!! Or when a non shot blocker is under the basket

(07:45-09:12) Glitches and other things that need no explanation or excuse, need an EXIT
The Invisible Ghost in 2k!! Shots through the backboard! The invisible ghost knocked down Lawson and I got the charge called on me lol These things happen because of 2k's scripted animations ..time to get em out man

(09:13-09:28) This animation needs an foul called on it..nothing ever gets called when i see this animation! With no call ever being made park nor actual game (I've never seen it) on top of that they make the offensive player get up like grandma!! I HATE that!! I can understand if a whitsle is blown but it never is!! Then they take away from my grade and tell me bad transition defense or I left my assignment! thats dumb 2k!! Something has to go and more than anything it has to be
the last part of the animation with people getting up like grandma!! if i'm hurt and limping i understand, but if i get up and sprint full speed it doesnt make sense to get up like grandma!!

(09:29-09:46) Ball physics
Yea the ball should not be shooting out of a rocket from a player sticking a hand out in front of a pass, nor should the ball outrun players after being tapped druing a pass!!! Physics need to be switched from tapped passes and blocks!! I never see the ball doing this from blocks!! Bring back the blocks from either 2k or 2k1..Blocks used to get sent to the stands and I loved that!!

(09:47-11:56) Crowds, Presentation, Glitches and A.I.
The first scene needs no explanation..watch during the timeout lmao... Happens during MyPlayer of course, along with the next scene (10:13) which really works my nerves and this happens EVERY GAME in MyCareer!!! EVERY!!! Coaches taking the DUMBEST timeouts with 0.6 or 0.2 left on the clock!! I can understand if its a close game in the 4th but nowhere near that and it happens!!! I mean c'mon 2k!! Doc Rivers talking with other coaches and teams in view happens every game too!! Next thing has to do with crowds, they're good but not good enough...(10:19) in OT with reigning champions and my team has the lead..drain a FT and a timeout is called...how is the crowd not going nuts like what happens in real life?!?! Why aren't people on their feet giving a standing applause for their team closing out the game and sealing the deal?!?!? Its pretty much dead silent and no emotion lol CMON MAN.. then these same timeout huddles are wack especially during this situation! They should be hype on the bench, dapping each other up, slapping hands like Bobby Bouche, doing something!! Not just sitting there like they're the ones losing and again the crowd in the background just chilling watching TV lol....oh but there's more..I know some will say you were up 8 of course they're chilling.. lets take a look at (10:49) yes at first when the Lakers get the steal the crowd gets hype and excited! I tie the game up then they do go crazy and the camera of the stadium shows, yes yes those are the right steps but then they go reverse drake and go 100 to 0 real quick!! Dude people should be jumping out of their seats(a crowd animation that should be added) throughout the timeout!! they should be standing the whole time!! its only 30sec timeouts that happened during these situations! Also its still, the same generic bench emotion, none of the players hype or happy they have a chance to win the game..just a bunch of slow moving and waddling going on! CMON MAN!! Then look at Jordan Hill on the bench, he looking like he thinking "Should I eat chicken or steak?? hmmm" lol... Then the last scene (11:30) I wish i had some video editing skills to put a TNT timeout transition there to hope that it will be there in 2k16!!!! (Somebody tell Shady to take that and put TNT on it! lol) Man, especially after seeing what NBA Live has done with ESPN and their presentation in the game, THIS HAS TO HAPPEN!! 2k we NEED TNT!!! We dont need that same far away camera angle from the bench after a timeout.. We need cut scenes like this!! Showing highlights or player interaction or the crowd!! WE NEED IT!! You need to switch out these long boring cheerleader scenes, make them short 3 sec clips and bring back NFL 2k5 cutscenes and highlights!! NFL 2k5 had ESPN, get NBA 2k16 TNT!!! Stop being so basic and generic!!!

Updates from GENERIC
1. Better and more urban hairstyles in MyPlayer..The haircuts need edges and straight hair lines that usually are there when you leave a barber shop
2. Different body sizes as in chubby, normal tone, muscular
3. lighting in every arena is not dark..there are some that are lit up brightly
4. Rim sounds and net sounds are better this year but at times they are a lil too much..There are times on finger rolls and smooth lay ups where the ball drops perfectly and barely even touches the net sometimes with no sound..but in 2k it sounds like a shot from downtown
5. Floaty passes have to go when unnecessary..alley-oops when you have to throw it a mile high for the guy to make way to the basket
6. NEED more details on shoes and accessories...when it comes to basketball or life period, shoes are big!! people buy shoes on ebay for $300-$500 everyday! I mean NBA Live 15 is straight up embarrassing 2K when it comes to shoes!! 2K shoes look like they're painted and not real material!
7. The generic team colorways of shoes are just awful! Give players the actual shoe and REAL colorways of that shoe! I will come and sit at 2K and do it for free if they are too lazy!
8. And PLEASE DELETE those ugly generic shoes in the game!! those things DO NOT exist around a basketball court!! Give us a basic real shoe like the chucks or something! or somebody at 2k make a better generic shoe that actually looks like a basketball shoe!!
9. Let us use the color wheel for ALL accessories! Why do we only have access to generic red white blue and black?!?
10. Stop making away teams wear black!! I can show much proof that most teams still have on white socks or different color shoes that aren't black when they're playing away
11. Why are we able to edit Created Players more than MYPlayer?!?!? We can give them undershirts and different socks and any shoe but not MyPlayer
12. I need presentation back from NFL 2k5...like its mind blowing to me that its not here in 2k15...no way these are the same people around who made 2k5..just doesn't make sense to me

End of QRTs, timeouts, and halftime highlights...where are they?!? please point me in the direction of the channel where this doesn't happen
Cut scenes ..saw em in 2k5, see em all the time on TNT and ESPN...shoot, make-up some fake celebs or something idk lol
Like how do you add cheerleaders with moving hair to bring in real NBA atmosphere but leave out highlights
Warm-ups!!! In the NBA they wear warm-ups! Even when they leave out of the game, they slide tops back on to stay warm and loose..have cut scenes of substitutions where they take off warm-ups or something..if you can cut in cheerleaders you can put that in the game too..people who never get in the game always have on warm-ups!!
take those FatHeads or blown up heads(whatever you call em) out of the game..this is professional not college

13. NBA player voice overs during MYCareer are horrible!! I know they aren't actors but tell them to put some kind of emotion into the words they are reading for 2k!! I guarantee that's not how players sound inside locker rooms

Its really crazy to me that I have to admit to something that I NEVER thought would happen.. EA would SMACK 2K when it comes to presentation!! Never thought that would happen! For the 1st time in 15 years!!! haha Its wild!!

2k is of course not a terrible game but to be real, 2k should be giving us 99.8% perfect games by now!!! Like I don't understand how they could do stuff on Dreamcast that they cant do now on X1/PS4!! Gaming sites shouldn't have to give scores below 9 to 2k but they're either lazy or dumb there now! That's probably why they have VC cause they know lots of us will get lazy and just buy VC to make our players better instead of playing the game! I really hope little simple things get fixed! AND the servers still suck by the way!! GIVE US BACK OFFLINE MODES!!!
