Scott lasted a couple months with the Orioles, but was eventually traded to the Florida Marlins for pitching. Scott played a couple months with the Suns and finished out the season. During his first season in the minors at the AA level, Scott had a .358 batting average with 7 homers and 80 RBI's. He led the league with batting average and slugging percentage.
During the off season, Scott was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirate's. Upon arriving, Scott was immediately promoted to the AAA team, but did not make the 40 man roster. Now playing for the Indianapolis Indians (Pirate's AAA team), Scott is currently hitting .385 with 11 homers and over 60 RBI's with a few months left in the season. The scouts have been keeping an eye on Scott and his batter performance card has been steadily increasing. The season has seen Scott have 3 throwing error's to first, but he is working on arm accuracy as well as his power at the plate and speed on the bases. Hopes are high that Scott will be in the majors come next season. If not, it won't be long. Hitting his goals 90% of the time helps this.
As Scott progresses through his career, I'll update this forum with his progress. Thanks for reading.
