1) I've been added to the 40-man roster for my MLB team and have been called up in September the last two seasons. I'm only getting pinch-hit opportunities, so this last month of the season is brutally boring. What's worse, there are times when I'm inserted in the lineup to pinch hit and then get stuck playing as the catcher in the next half of the inning. Now, with 40 guys on the roster, my MLB team has to have more than one catcher! Plus, this is a professional team (supposedly) and they are playing me, a 5'8" second baseman with no secondary position, in one or more games in September??
2) For two consecutive seasons, I have been part of spring training, getting minimal at bats as a pinch hitter and carrying a batting average below the Mendoza Line, and when the regular season starts, I'm retained on the bench in the majors instead of being sent back down to AAA. The first time, I got 35 ABs through mid-August and my attributes went into free fall. I had no opportunities to really earn training points to complete goals or maintain my attributes and when I was finally sent down, I'd lost anywhere from 2 to 8 points from various categories. This seems like it needs to be fixed. Getting stuck on the MLB bench is supremely boring; if nothing else, there should be many training opportunities since you're not actually playing in games.
3) I have never seen so many at bats with no-contact or fouled-off pitches on pitches down the middle where swing timing is Perfect. Every time I see a perfectly-timed swing, my player's PCI is way off and I see over, under, or just missed. Is it just that my players Vision rating needs to be much, much higher? On Rookie timing, it doesn't seem like the PCI should be so erratic.
