MLB 10 RttS Wrap
Posted on March 6, 2012 at 01:50 AM.
In anticipation for MLB 12's arrival tomorrow, I am putting a soft close around my MLB 10 career.

Since the last post after the 2016 all-star break, Trevor's career has hit HoF status and, at only 29, he is the top player in the league with 2 WS rings to his name (Texas, Arizona).

After winning his first ring with Texas and then falling a game short in the WS the next season, Trevor said goodbye to Texas and signed with Arizona. Things didn't start too smoothly, but Trevor's solid production lifted the team around him. Arizona snuck into the playoffs as the NL wildcard team, where they caught absolute fire, sweeping all three series on route to the title.

The following year, just like in Texas, Arizona found themselves back in the World Series, only to fall to the Angels in 7. This final season in Arizona saw Trevor reach 2000 career hits, 300 career home runs, and 1000 runs batted in.

Trevor found himself an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, and after seeing many suiters for his services, the Red Sox finally came calling and Trevor answered.

That's where we find Trevor today, 2 months into the 2021 season, and having a great season, both by individual numbers and overall team performance.

With the issues that I've experienced with MLB 10 crashing and stuttering and the release of MLB 12, I'm not sure if we'll ever see the end of Trevor's MLB 10 career and his eventual induction into baseball's Hall of Fame, but maybe, one day, I'll take a step back from MLB 12 to come back and finish what Trevor started.

Stay tuned...
