The biggest question is how will this help at the end of the story? Will it actually make games better and more playable by adding to the value? On the other hand, will it shut complainers up by showing once again there are no perfect games, just some are better than others?
I know most people think haters and complainers will be just that and I agree. I do think that going to the extended development cycle gives the perception of companies trying to make a better product which is enough in a lot of cases because you guessed it, perception is reality, even if that reality is indeed false.

Haters and complainers are just going to do that no matter what. I look at Nba 2k12 and I'm amazed at how these ppl call them lazy. The improvements that went into that game smh. To each it's own. I don't have a problem with yearly cycles. The Show and 2k have proven to me it can be done. Sure they can always improve but no such thing as a perfect game.
