49ers Franchise

I have just finished my second season with the 49ers.

In the first year i really struggled not having a QB to count on. So after finishing 4-12 i had a lot of work to do.

So after a disappointing first year i was looking forward to rebuilding with the of FA and the Draft.

Key FA I Added:

- David Clowney : I needed a strong third WR

- Chris McAlister and Sheppard : I was horrid at Pass D so i needed some guys who could pick it.

- Jerome Harrison: Had a good year in Cleveland

Draft :

- Colt McCoy : Best projected QB should give me something to work with

- DeMarcus Granger : Needed someone to stuff the run up the middle.

Key Changes in year 2:

-Starting QB is now McCoy with Nate Davis at backup

- CJ Spiller (4th rnd pick) : Would do returns

- Curtis Taylor takes over the starting FS spot

- Granger starts at DT

After year two:

I only had Frank Gore for 6 games but he was effective when healthy. 5.1ypc with 4 TD. Coffee could not carry the load however for the last 10 games and i bounced between Harrison and Spiller.

Crabtree had a breakout year with 800 yrds and 5 TD. Along with Josh Morgan putting up 600yrs and 3TD.

However the biggest impact was David Clowney with 700yrds and 7TD.

I ended up finishing the year 8-8, 3rd in the NFC West.
