Another solid defensive effort for UTSA has lead to their third consecutive victory, 14-7 over Florida International. The win brings the Roadrunners to 3-2 (3-0) on the season. Cornerback, Jeremy Hall, scored a touchdown on an interception return late in the first half and allowed UTSA to take a 7-0 halftime lead. Quarterback Eric Soza tacked on another score on a nine yard pass to Kenny Harrison to take a 14-0 lead. Shortly after extending the lead, Jake Medlock connected on a 70 yard touchdown pass to Willis Wright to bring the score to 14-7, and the UTSA defense would hold steady from there. One impressive stat for the Roadrunner defense: Negative 79 rushing yards allowed. What an impressive day for this team.
