The first ever meeting in the I-35 Rivalry between UTSA and Texas State would take place on Saturday, and the Texas State Bobcats would walk away with a 28-9 victory in their first and only meeting as conference opponents in the WAC. UTSA will move on to Conference USA next season, while Texas State is headed for the Sun Belt.
