[NBA 2k13] IF Players Are Eligible For More Than Five Signature Skills
Posted on August 28, 2012 at 12:08 AM.
I am sure there will be a lot of superstars/stars that will be eligible for more than 5 signature skills. It's inevitable. These players are that good. I do remember hearing that they will have 5 of these skills max, but I have an idea so that a player can have as much skills as he is eligible for.

What if, before every game, the user can choose the FIVE skills that the player will be able to use for just that game.

This sorta reminds me of NBA Live when they had those special skills like playmaker and post player and all that, and you can control it with the buttons. When Live had that, I remember you were able to choose which ones you can use for the game, and I would love that kind of feature for this game.

I also just came up with another idea that will build off of this. What if you can actually set all these up and change the skills for each game in advanced, so that you won't have to change them right before each game? I doubt this would happen, but won't it be a cool addition to have this?

Well that is all I got on that idea for now. If you got other ideas that can build off of this too, don't be afraid to mention them in the comments! Also, don't be afraid to tell me what you think of this idea overall? Bad or good, it doesn't matter. If you think it's stupid, tell me why. If you think it's good, add on to it! Thanks and see you on the next post!

I think that would definitely be a cool feature. Especially with the 2012 USA team in the game now, players who are typically stars for their NBA teams have different roles and I think choosing those would help a lot with playing 2K like they actually play. Like all of their 3-point shots increasing (they may already have a way of doing this) because the 3-point line is closer in. Durant and Melo become more of a catch and shoot guy as opposed to overall scorer. All of their D seems to take a step up. Russell Westbrook was guarding guys full court. I think the "scrapper" could be applied to him on that team and not SO much with the Thunder.

@Jcorona2

Thanks! Yeah they should definitely add this into 2k someday because it would make the signature skills of a player more useful that way. You won't have to be stuck with the skill that you don't want in that specific game is he is eligible for others that would fit your playing style. I also agree with you for the USA team thing, at least you'd be able to choose and set each player's role and by choosing their skills for that game!
