Any OS vet or lurker (such as yours truly) knows that this is a magical time of the year. The kids head back off to school, the leaves start turning brown, and Madden NFL is released once again to record sales, fantastic reviews, hilarious commercials, and general panning by the �hardcore� sports gaming community. Cause We Really Need Another Set of Madden 12 Demo Impressions

Everybody has something to say about the Madden 12 demo. Here's my initial thoughts:

First of all, this game looks really good. Yes, there are some issues, some pixelation on shadows in places, and there are some odd transitions during some of the cut scenes, but given that this is a demo that (presumably) isn't taken from the final build, and that it's a video game, I'm really impressed. This game graphically does not look like Madden 11 to me, and that's a good thing.

F*CK!

Well, it finally happened. I was playing MLB 2k9, and then it froze, which hadn't happened before, so power off the console then power it back on. MLB starts up, then freezes in the loading screen. Power off, power on. Nothing comes on the TV screen, and after about 30 second, I get RROD'd. Damn...

Will call Microsoft and see what they can do. Maybe I should just wait for the PS3 prices to drop down and just go that route. My Wii broke in under a year that ... Read More

Mannypalooza

I know this is kind of quick to get to, but this is such an important issue that I need to address it. I would like to clear something up. There has been much confusion surrounding a one Mr. Manny "Mannypalooza(1)" Ramirez with something concerning contract offers.
