BOSTON - The Milwaukee Bucks got their 2017-18 season off on the right foot by defeating the Boston Celtics 85-78. This was a low scoring and slow-paced affair that saw the Bucks dominate throughout, despite the final score only showing a 7 point victory. The Bucks jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter and never looked back in what was a wire-to-wire win to start the season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, to nobody's surprise, led the Bucks in this one. Giannis finished with 34 points and 9 rebounds on a hyper-efficient 15-21 shooting from the field. He showed he's on an MVP mission this season. Kyrie Irving led the way for the Celtics, finishing with 22 points, but it wasn't enough, as he struggled mightily in the 4th quarter as the Celtics tried to muster up a comeback.
