Season Recap
A season that started out promising ended in a disappointing fashion as the Vanderbilt Commodores were completely outmanned in the Chick-fil-a Bowl by the #18 Florida State Seminoles. Florida State 10-3 (7-2) dismantled Vanderbilt 6-7 (4-4) by a score of 52-31. Many experts wondered why Vanderbilt was invited to a bowl such as the Chick-fil-a Bowl, and those critics looked to have a point. In the end, Vandy wasn't expected to do a lot this season, and finishing the season by going to a bowl game is considered a decent season for the Commodores.
