DETROIT- The Detroit Pistons pulled away in the end to defeat the eight seeded Chicago Bulls 111-101 in game one of the first round of the playoffs. The Pistons controlled the game throughout, but the Bulls came back to get it within 7 points in the fourth quarter. Detroit pulled away in the end, though, to secure the ten point win.
The Pistons were led by Andre Iguodala and Stephen Curry throughout this one. Iguodala was the scorer early, with Curry dishes delicious dimes. Iguodala finished with 29 points on 11-21 shooting while Curry totaled 26 points on 10-14 shooting and 10 assists.
Game two of the series will be at 8:10 EST on April 21 at the Palace at Auburn Hills in Detroit.
