Someone give me a good TV show to watch :)

As I noted previously, my university is on strike. It does not appear that they will be going off strike anytime soon.

As such, I basically have nothing to do all day. I wake up, go to the gym, and then there's a nice giant gap of nothing until whatever happens that night. Recently I have played copious amounts of NHL '09, which, while a very good game, is something I can't be doing for six weeks.

Therefore, I am looking for a good series that I can watch for a bit. I think that I'd like to go for the comedy route, but I'm open to other suggestions. Basically the only shows I've seen are 24, The Office and Friday Night Lights. Also the show needs to be available on DVD so I can rent it from somewhere (I don't think that's an issue lol). Please give suggestions.

As well, in my video link of the...blog post, I present this video that does not allow embedding, and as such couldn't be posted in the video section. I feel it features four things.

1) Epic national anthem
2) Jim Hughson
3) Needless but awesome jab at the Maple Leafs
4) Roenick when he didn't suck

I should clarify the last point. I was watching the Sharks/Preds OT the other day and complaining about how Roenick doesn't play enough. He promptly lost the draw, got tangled up, couldn't get out to the point man, and three seconds later Nashville had won. So yeah, that's why he doesn't play. Here's the link.

Is Wayne Messmer still alive? The guy was so perfectly matched with the old Chicago Stadium. I tell ya, nothing beats those old arenas and the atmosphere inside them.

P.S. Hughson's the man! The best PBP guy today IMO.

Messmer is the part-owner of the Chicago Wolves IIRC, so I don't see him doing much with the Hawks.
