Washington Nationals at New York Mets

Probables: F. Rivero (0-0 0.00) vs. J. Lester (0-0 0.00)

The New York Mets (1-1) look to take the rubber match as they take on the Washington Nationals (1-1) in the final game of their 3 game set from Citi Field

Game Keys: (WAS) As opposed to the 1st game of the season, the Nationals offense was stymied by Noah Syndergaard, only managing to score two runs, both coming in the 8th inning. The Nats will look to get their offense back on track, and will be looking for Bryce Harper to put up good power numbers in this game off of Lester.

(NYM) After Matt Harvey took a Game 1 loss, Noah Syndergaard turned things around for Mets pitchers in the second game, as their bats were finally able to get to work. A lot of positives have been said about both the Mets pitchers and hitters, as they sport a young lineup. With the bats awakening in Game 2, they will need more of the same in Game 3, and will be looking for BIG games from Dilson Herrera, Dom Smith, and Will Metzger, in order to take the series.
