Huskies make an early statement with a 27-6 win over Georgia.
Huskies came out swinging versus #8 Georgia, putting up 14 points in the first quarter. Georgia's defense helped the offense out by getting an interception late in the 2nd quarter; Georgia only managed a field goal to cut the lead to 14-3. A fumble by J.T. McKenize gave Georgia the ball back right before half, but Georgia's offense couldn't move the ball, only gaining 7 yards on 3 plays, but Georgia managed it's second field goal of the half. 14-6 at halftime.

The Huskie's defense continued to shutdown Georgia's offense completely in the 2nd half, allowing no points. While the Huskies offense managed to put up 6 points thanks to 2 Georgia turnovers. The Huskies defense outscored both Georgia's and Connecticut's offense during the second half 7-6, thanks to a 92 yard interception return by Scott Buckley late in the 4th quarter. Connecticut is picked to win their 6 straight Big East title. Big East sucks, so i have to load up on ranked teams out side of the Big East. I kinda over loaded this schedule so it doesn't look like a National Championship year. I run a 4-3 defense and west coast offense.
