New Baylor Offensive Coordinator Starts Year Off Right

New Baylor Bears Offensive Coordinator began the year off correctly by defeating former Southwestern Conference rival and #14 ranked TCU Horned Frogs by a score of 28-19.

"Our kids played hard out on the field tonight, they were on prime television and they made a statement to the whole nation that Baylor is here and we're here to stay," said the ecstatic coordinator. "TCU deserves all the credit in the world, they're a good team, play a really tough defense, but tonight we were just better. I am just so happy for our kids."

Robert Griffin III started off on slow, throwing an INT on his very first pass, but the nerves calmed down and he went on to put in a player of the game performance. "I started bad," said Griffin III, "I felt I had put the team down and when I got back on the field for the rest of the game I had a chip on my shoulder, and I turned that into 3TDs and a win."

Griffin had 210 passing yards and 2 TDs while also rushing for 84 yards and a TD. Baylor has the next week off before taking on a game Ohio Bobcat squad
