Super Bowl Prediction!!
Posted on November 27, 2009 at 04:11 PM.
We are currently well into the 2009-2010 NFL campaign. I am now officially ready to go on record as to who will be playing in the 2010 Super Bowl.

Drum roll please..............

Arizona Cardinals vs Cincinatti Bengals

Cincy is arguably one of the best teams in the NFL. With a sweep over Baltimore and Pittsburgh-Cincy shows that they can win physical football games. They are extremely well balanced, have strong leadership at QB, and can eat up game time with a malicious running attack.

The loser of the super bowl, most times than not, always perform sub-par the year after coming up short to win the big one. Sometimes, they miss the playoffs altogether! What saves Arizona is an extremely weak division. But the x-factor to look for.....Zona is UNDEFEATED on the road! This is an extremely important factor to look at, when you consider Arizona will have to win on the road to make it to the big show. Also, consider that Dal, Min, NO, GB, all teams who I believe will make it to the playoffs did not play in the playoffs last year-making Arizona the most experienced team in NFC post season. Last fact....their running production is on the upswing....SCARY!

So there you have it ARI vs CIN for the super bowl. Let me know what you think. BTW-my team the cwboys will lose to either ATL or Philly in the wild card..

Cincy looks good for a Super Bowl run, but, my prediction is
Colts vs. Vikings. Both have proven QBs and just seem like complete teams.

The only downside to Minnesota is quarterback. Bret is 40 years old, his body is due to break down. I believe the colts can make it to the AFC championship game....and possibly be undefeated, but Cincy is the more physical team.

1) Cincinnati is a legitimate contender but they just lost to the Oakland Raiders which could be very deflating.

2) Minnesota made the playoffs last year. They destroyed Arizona last year in the regular season 35-14 with Jackson at the head of the team. The Vikings are an even stronger team this year with a veteran QB leading the team. Warner has been inconsistent and with Winfield returning to Vikings secondary you can expect to see a slightly better Viking secondary than you've seen the past few weeks.

3) Cincinnati doesn't stand a chance against either New England or the Colts. Both are much more complete teams. I believe They will, however, be a team that can go the distance if they keep building on this years success. You can't expect to go from 1-15 to Super Bowl team in one season. I'd be impressed if this Bengals team can do that.

My prediction:
Vikings (14-2) > Saints (15-1) in NFC Championship due to being a more well rounded team with defense on their side.
Colts (15-1) > Patriots (13-3) in AFC Championship simply because it Colts will have home field advantage. This game could go either way after seeing them play in the MNF game.

I think Indianapolis will lose to the Texans or Broncos due to the fact they've been struggling for their wins recently.
I'm picking New England over the Saints on Monday as well for the same reason.

Minnesota has a legit shot, but Im telling you Arizona is coming out of the NFC. The saints, vikings, and cardinals are all toss up teams. What wins out.....Zona's been to the dance the previous year, making them more experienced. Like I said before, I like Indianopolis, but I believe Cincy will beat them in the playoffs. Just keep in mind, you heard it here first.

Cardinals are not going back to the Superbowl this year, they just got beat by Tennessee who has been better but is still bad. They are no where near as solid as they need to be to beat the elite NFC teams like the Vikings or Saints. They have a solid chance of winning their division and maybe they can pull off some playoff magic again, but I doubt it.

The Bengals are one of my favorite teams and they have more of a shot than the Cardinals of getting in but they are in the tougher Conference. They've beaten some great teams this year but had to struggle to beat the HORRIBLE Browns. Granted they were without Benson and Johnson stepped up and played well but I think they will falter in the playoffs.

My prediction is the Saints and Colts. Both have elite QB's, good balanced offenses with plenty of weapons and very solid defenses. I worry about the Vikings because if you shut down Farve, AP hasn't been that great this year. They should have lost at least 2 more games (barely won 49ers and Ravens). AFC will be tough for the Colts but they should get home field advantage and be able to rest, their defense is great though and Manning will prove that he is the best QB playing the game right now.

Anyways, Go Pack Go!
