With the notable exception of an ill-advised under-pressure throw by Patriots QB Tom Brady that resulted in a pick six by Bengals CB Jonathan Joseph, Brady and the Patriots, and WR Randy Moss in particular, absolutely obliterated the Bengals' defense with an aerial attack. Brady finished the day with 357 passing yards, and Moss had an astounding 242 yards receiving. Pats' RB Fred Taylor did his job on the ground, and the Pats' defense intercepted Bengals QB Carson Palmer twice, and forced Bengals RB Cedric Benson to fumble and lose the football.

PLAY OF THE GAME:
Patriots QB Tom Brady shows why standing tall in the pocket and making the throw as late as possible, to give your WR a chance to get separation and even if it means taking a sure hit, pays dividends, as he connects with Moss running far across the field, and Moss uses the ref as a pick to get even greater separation and turn the YAC into 6:
