**Juneau, Alaska prospect Dwayne Moore, a 1-star FB, has committed to play at ASU, as has 3-star, #98 ranked RB Perry Williams of Mililani Town, Hawaii. Williams is a JUCO player out of Honolulu Junior College, and is listed at 6-1 194lbs, with good hands and speed to take it to the house. Moore is a 5-10 213lb blocking FB.
**You heard it hear first** - #14 ranked Athlete BJ Stewart is taking an official visit to campus this week according to reports. Stewart, a projected RB/DB, would be a huge pick up for this ASU staff.

Defensive Captain: Rashaun Morris, 6-3 197lb senior from Mansfield, OH. Morris is one of 5 children, and the first to leave the state of Ohio for college. His 3 brothers and sister all attended the University of Akron. Morris is the first to play football, and he was a stellar PG for his high school team, being named second team all-state twice. Morris brings the smarts and awareness the coaches absolutely love. Morris is like a coach on the field some say, and being named captain was unanimous. Rashaun is a Fish Management major. This is his second year as Defensive Captain.

Holding onto a 16-6 lead proved to be too much for Alaska State. Give them credit, they took the #3 team in the nation, a powerhouse every year, to the brink of defeat. Credit given, but a loss is a loss, this one being a tough one. The SnowCat defense couldn't stop a revived FSU offense led by QB Ryan Jackson, who threw for 307yds and 3TD in the win. FSU held Alaska State to under 300 yards of offfense, and scored two TD in a span of 3 minutes to take the lead and never let it go, posting the come from behind victory 20-16.

DE - Allen Rooney & Justin Johnson - will fill in nicely with both senior ends graduating. Both will compete for a starting position in spring ball.
QB - Tyler Mann - Mann comes in as the #51 overall QB. He possesses great speed and a strong arm. He will most likely redshirt his first year.
MLB - Charles Robinson - #90 overall MLB, great at stopping the run. His big frame, 6-2 251 lbs, will translate to a potential starting spot if he can beat out McIntosh.
WR - Marcus Harrell - At 6-5, 213, he will be an easy target for any QB. They may try to redshirt him in year one.
Athlete - Joe Woodard - Junior college transfer from Cali. Was runner-up for JuCo Rising Star Award. Coaches are considering a LB or secondary role, preferably safety.

10-2 New Mexico squares off against 9-3 Alaska State this weekend in the 2015 Mountain West Conference Championship game. Both teams are riding 6-game winning streaks coming into this game. New Mexico should prove to be a tough opponent as they are led by the NCAA passing leader, senior QB Trey Mathis. Mathis leads the NCAA in passing with 4,491 yards and 37 TD, also running for 525 yds and 4 TD. New Mexico has the #1 passing offense in the nation, yet neither team is ranked very high defensively, so be ready for a high scoring game.
