Alaska State lands First Recruit

Alaska State Head Coach Shannon Tietsworth received an early morning call today from Erik Thompson, a 1-star fullback recruit from Butte-Silver Bow, Montana. Thompson indicated he was committing to Alaska State via phone, mostly he said, because he wanted the recruiting part done to concentrate on his school studies. Thompson is the #37 rated FB in the nation, and is listed as a blocker/running back mix with good hands.
