Offense - You have the greatest center ever, with the most consistent shot ever. You have the top 2 leading scorers ever (in terms of points). Your entire small forward position can score at an elite level (Rice, English, & Melo). You have 2 shooting guards who bring different types of scoring to the table (Miller with shooting 3's, Dantley with his post game). You have the greatest passing point guard ever (in my opinion). I really don't see a weak position offensively. You could put out a line up of Kareem, Malone, Melo, English, & Stockton, and not only would you score 120 points per game, but Stockton would average 20 assists per game.I do worry that Malone & Gilmore never played well in crunch time, but you have Kareem, Melo, & Reggie for that 10/10
Defense - Kareem was a great shot blocker. Gilmore was a good shot blocker. That being said, Malone wasn't a good defender. Cliff Robinson was solid, but couldn't guard quicker perimeter players. NONE of your small forwards or shooting guards play defense. Stockton was a great pick pocket. Strickland was a solid defender who could harass point guards. But, I just can't look past how weak Rice, Miller, English, Dantley, & Melo are on defense. Try as I might, I just can't come up with a good defensive line up for you (Kareem, Artis, Robinson, Strickland, Stockton)?6/10
Chemistry - No real egos here (maybe Kareem could be considered selfish, but compared to others, he's nothing.) Not sure how Strickland or Melo would take coming off of the bench. Malone would likely be your vocal leader, as Stockton, Kareem, Gilmore, English, & Dantley were all pretty quiet guys, so I do wonder who would bring the team together late in a close game 9/10
Durability - Kareem, Malone, Stockton, Reggie, & English never EVER missed games. Same for Cliff Robinson. Dave Bing played most games. Gilmore played almost every game from '72 to '83. Strickland & Dantley missed several games throughout their career, but I can't penalize you too much for that, seeing as how so many of your top guys never missed. 10/10
Depth - I couldn't think of a better backup for Kareem than Gilmore. I've already addressed how stacked your small forward position is. Your shooting guard position is a good one, as well. I think Robinson is a great back up for Malone, as he averaged around 17 points per game throughout his prime. Still, your bench line up is a big step down from your starting line up. (Gilmore, Cliff, Melo/Rice, Miller/Dantley, Strickland). 9/10
