Jacoby Ellsbury won the game on a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 7th to put the Yankees up for good in a pitchers duel.

C.C. Sabathia pitched 8 strong innings, allowing only 1 run.

Dellin Betances picked up his 9th save, but had to work for it. Up by 2, he loaded the bases with no one out, but struck out Rivera for the first out, followed by a sacrifice fly to cut the lead to 1, but got Dejesus to line out to Ellsbury to convery the save.

With the win, the Yankees improve to 16-6, winners of 5 consecutive games, and 7 consecutive series.
